You asked- we listened. After seven Love on Earth Workshops Traci, Bill, Malachi, and Aimée are putting on an elopement photographer focused retreat. A time to connect with the outdoors you love, foster your fellow photographer community, adventure in true elopement photographer fashion, get epic branding photos to elevate your business, receive feedback on your business, your portfolio, your website… all in the stunning setting of Palmer, Alaska. 

The Retreat Game Plan

September 1st:

• Check into beautiful, spacious Airbnb stay at 5:30pm
• Group welcome dinner at airbnb
• Fireside chat with S’mores

September 2nd: 

• One on One sessions available
• First Alaska excursion- Matanuska Glacier Walking tour (included in cost)
• Optional restaurant Dinner 
• Sunset hike with optional, informal styled shoot/branding photos

September 3rd: 

• Packrafting Lake adventure with branding photos 
• One on One Business Sessions
• Optional Dinner at Whiskey + Ramen (Traci’s favorite restaurant in the country)

September 4th: 

• Farewell Breakfast
• Check out by 9:30am
• BONUS OPTIONAL ADVENTURE: K2 Denali Flight* (*not included in ticket price)

Tickets!

There is only room for 5 individual tickets and 4 couples tickets (yes, your partners are welcome at this retreat!). 

Your ticket includes :

• Your stay (Spacious, beautiful home with hot tub and fire pit, couple’s will be in Queen-sized beds.)
• All breakfast + lunches included
• One Home Cooked Dinner
• One-on-One Business Sessions with the hosts of your choosing
• One Glacier walking tour on Matanuska Glacier
• Alaska Train Ride Ticket to access glacier-fed lake
• One packrafting adventure on iceberg filled lake (packrafts, paddles + life vests provided)
• One sunset hike with informal styled shoot (may add an additional hike pending interest + weather)
• Headshots and drone photos for your website + social media captured by instructors
• Your Alaska trip guide – staying longer or arriving earlier, and want your trip planned? Don’t worry, we will send a list of things to do in detail in case you are staying longer. This will also include a “What to pack for Alaska” guide.

Tickets to attend this workshop: $1800 for an individual ticket, $2650 for a couple’s ticket*

(*Couples who volunteer for informal modeling will receive a $150 discount! We are offering this to two couples only.)

Not included are flights, rental car, or meals out to restaurants. We do encourage attendees to carpool and travel together which can set up from connecting in our Facebook group. You can fly into: Anchorage, Alaska.

To purchase a ticket you fill out the form on our site and then Traci will email you (from traci@adventureandvow.com) the contract and invoice. Once you have signed and paid your seat will be reserved! We hold your ticket for up to 24 hours after the contract has been sent, if it is not signed within 24 hours your ticket is released.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you can not attend the workshop anymore after purchasing you can sell it to another previous Love on Earth attendee and they can take your place at the workshop. Please just communicate this with us beforehand and connect us to the new attendee!

*** Please note ticket sales will close on Jan 11th due to the need to book the tours with our final group count before tickets are no longer available. We will also need to cancel the event if we do not sell our minimum needed group count to pay for the stay/food costs.

The Stay

Everyone will be staying at the same Airbnb, this way community can be built. Did you know Aimee, Malachi and Traci all became best friends from a workshop? The value of building community for yourself in the industry is priceless.

You may be sharing a room with one or a couple other attendees. The home is spacious with indoor and outdoor space to relax and enjoy your stay.

FAQs

Who can attend the retreat??

The retreat is open to photographers + their partners if they book a couple’s ticket. We are happy to have other vendors who have been a part of the Love on Earth Workshop attend this year as well as an attendee.

How do I get to Palmer, Alaska?

You can get to Palmer by flying into Anchorage, Alaska. You will need to rent a car to get around Alaska; however, you can try to link up with car pools in our Facebook group prior. It is cheaper to rent through Turo in Alaska over traditional rentals at the airport as a tip.

Are you selling any couples tickets this year?

Yes!! We do have a set of couple’s tickets this year. And as a fun bonus, any couple who offers to model for the workshop will get a $150 discount. A couple’s ticket is available to two people, willing to share one bed together.

Can we stay off property?

Per usual, we do not allow people to attend the workshop and not stay at the group stay.

Will there be styled shoots at the retreat?

The retreat is a little different from a workshop- so there won’t be a formal styled shoot, but attendees (and hosts) may model in an informal capacity during the packraft adventure or hiking excursions. 

How will the education/one-on-ones work?

You will have the option to sign up for a 30-minute mentor session with Malachi, Aimee or Traci one on one. You can decide which of us to sign up for, these are essentially to help you work through a specific issue you are having within your business and area you want to grow in.

Malachi is available for SEO/website Audits or conversations around SEO and web. Malachi is also available for specific help around Dubsado set-ups and workflows or integrating Zapier into your systems.

Traci is available for portfolio reviews, social media/marketing help, client workflow, and album/print sell techinques.

Aimee is available for conversations around boundaries within business, burnout, confidence in your work, and more.

Each evening we will be having fire-side chats where open Q&A is welcome for all of us!
